🖇️story by; Yakubu Adams Democracy is indeed the ultimate positive revolution because it gives every individual of adult suffrage the power to change, control, and direct duty bearers for the common good of the people. But in every multi-party democracy, individual aspirations must always be in sync with their ideological party identity, the very platform on which those individuals would want to stand and advance their political growth  The NDC as a political party must not become just a tool for party executives in actualizing just their dreams, rather, party executives must remain religious to their contracts and promises upon which they were elected to serve. Barely few weeks ago, Ruth Seddoh told the over one thousand party delegates drawn from the 275 constituencies across the country that they should elect her as a deputy national youth organizer of the party, in order to work for the party and deliver the youth votes  Ten (10) candidates were standing up f

Daniel Osei Wereko writes; Daniel Osei Wereko (UGSRC PRO) What do we know so far? Up until now, we know a six count of cases was filed by some students of this University and members of the student body in the SRC Court seeking for grounds to impeach the current SRC President. Again, known to us is a court decision which granted two of the six count of cases and established a prima facie basis for the said impeachment. We also know a General Assembly (GA) Emergency Meeting which was halted by a ‘Stay of Execution’ granted by the Appeals Board (AB) under the SRC constitution. This ‘Stay of Execution’ has become the source of what appears to be a feud and scuffle among and between us all. The opinions of the masses have invited me for an opinion granted in reasoning. You may not find me dealing with the rudiments of the law, but a refined opinion on the law will be professed. Three issues here; First is on the subject of whether or not the court was right in sustaining two

Godsway Obro-Boateng Panyin a, ɔtena fie ma nkwadaa we nanka no,yɛɛbu nanka wefo a, ɔka  ho bi. This Akan Proverbs as said by our forefathers literally translates that, An adult who sits at home for kids/children to eat the snake, when they are looking for those who eat snakes,he's one. It is important to note that, what this Proverbs stands to achieve is to advance the course that, an elder cannot look on unconcerned when things are going wrong. But this unfortunately for us is not what we see in our jurisdiction so far as the office of the Dean of students Affairs and matters of the SRC is concerned. The African proverb that, "what an elderly sees sitting down, a child cannot see standing" the translation of this proverb is the critical reason why, the University has given powers to the Dean of students Affairs to act as an elderly figure to exercise an oversight responsible on the students Representative Council(SRC), Graduate students Association of Ghana( UG

Freda Rhymz and Sister Afia Sista Afia in her ‘WMT’ song which was released a couple of weeks ago took a jab at some female musicians in Ghana. Freda Rhymz hit back with ‘Point of Correction’ and had to some things to say to Sista Afia. Sista Afia, however, went ahead to charge Freda to say all the things she said about her in the song to her face when she sees her. On the morning of 18th May at the premises of TV3, the two almost got into a fistfight had it not been for the intervention of people around. This evening on United Show Biz,Ama McBrown tried to settle the beef between Sista Afia and Freda Rhymz on her show ‘United Showbiz’ and the discussion led to many revelations. In a conversation to settle the feud, the two artists were given the opportunity to express their displeasure with each other. On Sista Afia’s part, she expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that Freda mentioned her name directly in her song “Point of Correction” and made accusations that she s
