LEGON NAADU JOINS UG MUSLIMS IN CELEBRATING EID UL-ADHA

UGSRC aspirant Naadu Stephanie Antwi joined the Muslim community leadership on the University of Ghana campus to celebrate Eid ul-adha, which is celebrated just over two months later, at the same time when many Muslims perform the Hajj Pilgrimage 

In her address to the Islamic community, she reminded them that the Ramadan feast was holy, and that they should strive to use it to promote peaceful coexistence. 


She asked the Muslim Ummah on campus to remember her in their prayers and to send her guidance and wisdom as her journey with the UGSRC begins.


Naadu Stephanie Antwi also used the occasion to urge students to constantly follow the various safety protocols in order to aid in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic on campus and throughout the country. 

Mr. Lukeman, President of the Ghana Muslim Students Association-UG, expressed gratitude to Miss Naadu Stephanie Antwi and her team for the donations. He also wished her Allah's blessings for her dedication to the Muslim community on campus. 

Some non-alcoholic drinks and rice were donated.

                               ✍️Story by: Kengel Yeboah Vandal Danny A University of Ghana level 400 student died a day before finishing school while seeking medical assistance at the University of Ghana Hospital.  He died yesterday, September 8, 2021.  Daniel Anane Wadie was a member of the University of Ghana Parliament House,an Information studies and Philosophy student and a Commonwealth Hall resident. Freda Rhymz and Sister Afia Sista Afia in her ‘WMT’ song which was released a couple of weeks ago took a jab at some female musicians in Ghana. Freda Rhymz hit back with ‘Point of Correction’ and had to some things to say to Sista Afia. Sista Afia, however, went ahead to charge Freda to say all the things she said about her in the song to her face when she sees her.
