 A time has come where outgoing student leaders need to play a vital advisory role in ensuring that the right people are given the nod to serve. Throughout my walk, as a student leader, I have believed in a vision of feasibility, certainty, and achievability. One that seeks to address and redress the pending rising concerns of students, a vision that projects a system of HOPE and some volume of assurance towards the face of student leadership. I have worked closed with TEAM NANA B and MR ACQUAH when I was running for SRC GENERAL SECRETARY.

 As key stakeholders on my team they played a pivotal advisory role on my growth and policy directions, through my engagement with them, I realized how poised they are to ensure that we get the right people there. Their level of loyalty, humility, and integrity is admirable. I may not be in the best position to decide for you but with my experience in student leadership, assessing the flaws and challenges within student leadership, the office of the SRC President requires one that is of so much knowledge and intuition to comprehend concerns of students and project feasible remedies to address them.


I write with a sense of concern and responsibility not just to recommend any other qualified person than NANA B and MR ACQUAH to be given the nod to serve as SRC President and Vice President for the upcoming SRC elections. I believe together, an ERA of hope will be unleashed and ensure that policies that will be in the best interest of students will be implemented. Your support, my support and everyone’s support will bring HOPE to our SRC. Indeed, this is an ERA of HOPE and I, PRISCILLA ABOABIRE is proud to be a part of this big family, let's join hands and make things work.

                               ✍️Story by: Kengel Yeboah Vandal Danny A University of Ghana level 400 student died a day before finishing school while seeking medical assistance at the University of Ghana Hospital.  He died yesterday, September 8, 2021.  Daniel Anane Wadie was a member of the University of Ghana Parliament House,an Information studies and Philosophy student and a Commonwealth Hall resident. On the 4th of September, 2021, he was admitted to the hospital.  His health was critical, and he was kept in the emergency room for four days on oxygen.  According to the brother who sent Daniel to the hospital, the Doctors should have transferred  him to a different hospital when they realized the situation was very serious, but they held him since, according to incharge checks, the beds at 37 military hospital, Korle bu, and UGMC were all full. Freda Rhymz and Sister Afia Sista Afia in her ‘WMT’ song which was released a couple of weeks ago took a jab at some female musicians in Ghana. Freda Rhymz hit back with ‘Point of Correction’ and had to some things to say to Sista Afia. Sista Afia, however, went ahead to charge Freda to say all the things she said about her in the song to her face when she sees her. On the morning of 18th May at the premises of TV3, the two almost got into a fistfight had it not been for the intervention of people around.
