USAG Executives meet National Youth Authority

🖇Story by;Kengel Yeboah  The Executives of the University Students' Association of Ghana (USAG) were privileged to meet Mr.  Pius Enam Hadzide , Ag. CEO of  National Youth Authority   on Tuesday, 16th November, 2021. They introduced themselves to Mr. Hadzide as the new executives for USAG. They also congratulated and commended his good works since his appointment as the CEO of the Authority.The Executives were grateful for the authority’s contribution towards the International Youth Day Celebration organised earlier in the year by USAG. Leadership introduced the AMPLIFIED initiative to Mr. Hadzide which is geared towards projecting, promoting and mentoring students and young entrepreneurs. And their preparedness to make inputs in the upcoming Youth Policy. USAG expressed preparedness of the association to support upcoming Ghana's youth policy when finally reviewed. NUGS advocates Dubai scholarships, exchange programs for Ghanaian students

Ghana's Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Ahmed Ramadan, has been asked by the National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) to establish scholarships and exchange programs for Ghanaian students who aspire to pursue higher studies in Dubai. Following their participation in the ongoing World Majlis Conference at the Expo 2020 in the country, a delegation led by the Union's Secretary for International Affairs, Pius Baidoo, and Secretary for Women's Development, Ohemaa Bediako, made a courtesy call on the Ambassador.  The Union thinks that the exchange programs will provide Ghanaian students with an enriching academic, professional, and personal experience, as well as the opportunity to exchange ideas with their UAE counterparts.
