Ghana has been ranked as the third most peaceful African country and the 43rd most peaceful country in the world by the Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP). On Friday, June 12,2020, the University of Ghana Students' Representative Council's General Assembly approved the Electoral Commission Constitutional Instrument(C.I ). Persuant to article 31,clause 4 and article 38 clause 1 of the Constitution of the Students Representative Council of the University of Ghana,the Constitutional Instrument of the Electoral Commission shall be the legal document for the purposes of regulating, governing and conducting the business of the 2020 SRC elections in the second semester for the 2020/2021 academic year. Ghanaian musician Mr Drew who is promoting his new single, “EAT’ which features Stonebwoy has had the over 150,000 viewed official music video taken down by YouTube. Up until now, we know a six count of cases was filed by some students of this University and members of the student body in the SRC Court seeking for grounds to impeach the current SRC President. Again, known to us is a court decision which granted two of the six count of cases and established a prima facie basis for the said impeachment. We also know a General Assembly (GA) Emergency Meeting which was halted by a ‘Stay of Execution’ granted by the Appeals Board (AB) under the SRC constitution. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic which  has brought the World into a crisis,the University of Ghana Students' Representative Council (SRC) General Assembly had their first Virtual meeting on May 20,2020 to continue with the Affairs of the SRC.
